I’m Chris, a dad, a nerd, a gamer, and a blogger. I write mostly to cope with depression and anxiety. I write about practical things like playing games and my home lab, and I write about esoteric things like surviving in a corporatist hellscape. I think a lot about computers and the Internet, in technical, cultural, and political terms.

I try not to write too much about politics. As a Gen-X who was raised on punk rock, I’ve alwasy been an anarchist. When I was young, I was a “Anarchyburger, hold the government” type. The pre-social media Internet turned me into a post-scarcity anarchist, but too many years watching billionaires buy laws to preserve artificial scarcity have turned me pretty far to the left. I guess you can sum up my politics mostly as “I hate cops and I hate corporations.”
